Cameron Barefoot is a 2020 OF/ with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Dunn, NC who attends Midway. Medium frame with athletic, slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.83 seconds. Hits from slightly open, staggered stance, small hand load, shifts well into contact, compact hand path with line drive plane, solid bat speed, squared the ball up consistently to all fields, will drive the ball more as he continues to gain strength. Worked out in the outfield, moves well to and through the ball, balanced and efficient footwork, consistently accurate on throws with quick release, clocked up to 82 mph. Named to 2018 Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List, excellent student.
