Marshall Lipsey is a 2022 OF/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Longview, TX who attends Spring Hill. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to fill moving forward. Fast-twitch, posted a 6.52 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields it out front with two hands, shows agility and quickness in actions with balance to footwork, shows some arm strength and carry on throws with one-hop accuracy to the intended bag. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Compact swing path, shows fast hands and works on a linear plane, line drive contact off of the barrel to all parts of the field. Present bat speed through the zone with a consistent feel for the barrel, projects well with added strength. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to TCU.
