Benjamin Heath is a 2026 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Oak Mountain. Tall and lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow base with a toe tap timer, gets nice rotation from his hips and upper half and generates some bat speed, line drive swing plane, hits to all fields with solid contact, projects well as a hitter as he continues to get stronger. 7.24 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, moves well to his back hand and gets his glove in good position, good lower half actions and footwork into a quick release, has quick feet and will have plenty of range, good carry across the diamond on his throws. Also pitched, has a sound delivery with some arm whip and speed and a high 3/4's arm slot, can get early with his front shoulder at times. Fastball sat in the low 80's with some running life. Threw a hard slurve type breaking ball as his off speed pitch. Excellent student. Named to the High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
