Jonathan Matos is a 2025 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Cocoa, FL who attends Rockledge. Big and strong prototypical catcher's build. Very good athlete for his size and strength, 6.89 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has big arm strength and makes accurate throws from a quick exchange, longer arm stroke but makes up for it with his arm speed and quickness, will be able to shut down a running game. Right handed hitter, swings hard and creates big barrel whip and bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hard with easy power, lived on the barrel in batting practice, big exit velocities. High level raw tools if he can bring it all together. Signed with Northwest Florida State College. Named to the PG World Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
