RJ Cope is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-8 235 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. XL physical frame, special size and build here with coordination. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, full wind-up with a high leg lift, gets into lower half, three-quarters slot, up to 19" of horizontal on his fastball that touched 91-mph and sat 86-89 throughout, tough to barrel and worked edge to edge throughout, tight slider works well with present slot and tunnels well off the heater with present feel to spin and land, good changeup in the mix as well, outstanding projection and pitchability long term. Left-handed hitter, medium base with ope feet, strong and can bully the baseball through contact, has present impact with a 97-mph max exit velocity. Special talent with an extremely promising future on the mound.
