Justin Lee is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Notre Dame. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Right-handed pitcher, works out of the stretch and gathers over the rubber well, full arm swing through the back working to a three-quarters release point; generates plus extension out front and ball comes out of hand very clean and easy. Fastball topped out at 95 mph with more to come in future, worked down in the zone with occasional angle to glove side and flashes of running life, mostly true, missed lots of bats. Slider shows nice potential and can continue to incorporate it more into repertoire, up to 82 mph; also showed a splitter with real power and diving action up to 84 mph, very low spin and has potential to be a swing-and-miss offering. Good student. Verbal commitment to UCLA. Named to the 2022 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
