Alex Harrington is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Tall, lean frame and projects extremely well physically. Primary shortstop, fluid movements working to the baseball with a bounce to the actions, hands work out front well with excellent feel for the leather. Great feel for internal clock and gets the ball across quickly from all slots with advanced arm strength. Recorded throws across up to 90 mph. Right-handed hitter, hits from a wider base with high hands and natural rhythm to the swing. Creates length through contact with projectable power and serious whip to the barrel present. Line drive oriented path and performs at a high level. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Stanford. Named to 2024 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
