Dawson Cleveland is a 2024 C/1B/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Murphy, TX who attends Wylie. Long and lean frame with good room to add. Primary catcher, very impressive behind the dish in workouts and game action, athletic out of crouch with quick efficient transfers and good fundamentals, gains short ground but gets rid of it quick with a strong arm, really good pops and cut down runners in game action. Right-handed hitter, athletic and quick twitch-process with a good handle of the barrel, gets wide in the base and lets the hands work, lofted path and works to lift on the front side, good impact strength and jump off the barrel already, easy things to like in terms of the foundation. Great student. Named to South TP Games Top Prospect List.
