2024 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Wilson Davis is a 2026 OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Rebecca, GA who attends Fitzgerald. Features a medium sized athletic build. Ran a 6.88 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed fundamental actions with room to improve. Some choppiness to the initial footwork and slow down into reception. Sets a low glove early and fields it clean, out front and slightly off to the side. Uses a couple extra shuffles and steps before working into his throws. Showed a longer arm action where throws were made uphill with average strength for his level and were accurate to the bag. At the plate, sits in a wider base with quiet hands. Slight lean into his backside before gliding forward. Minimal rhythm. Barrel sets into an upright launch and turns well for a flatter pat through the zone. Flashed some quickness to the hands helping supply some quality bat speed. More of a pullside oriented approach during BP and showed the ability to get the ball in the air with strong backspin. Best barrels were ones he sent deep into CF flashing some impact. Excellent student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
