Trevor Kiser is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Rose Hill, KS who attends Rose Hill. Primary shortstop with a compact build and some present athleticism. Stays aggressive and direct to the ball, fielding it out front with a quick and efficient funnel in. Hands are smooth and athletic, flashing some good range to the backhand. Some present arm strength from an over the top slot, creating good backspin and carry on accurate throws to bases at 78 miles per hour. Has a wider and slightly open stance at the plate. Flashes some present bat speed and good feel for the barrel. Shows the ability to work to and through both gaps. A pair of really impressive line drive singles in game action. High motor kid, legging out a pair of infield singles and showing good feel for the strike zone. Secondary pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch. Developing feel and comfort on the mound from a high three-quarters arm slot. Has drop and drive actions down the mound, with good direction at foot strike before falling slightly to the glove side at release. Shows some control of the fastball at 69-to-73 miles per hour, as well as some developing feel for a curveball with 11-to-5 shape at 63 miles per hour. Good student.
