Andrew Costello is a 2026 C/2B/3B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Fairview, PA who attends Cathedral Prep. Strong and compact build. 6.88 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has quick actions and stays compact well, comfortable in a one knee down stance, big arm strength with short exchange and arm stroke, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a medium base, very fast hands and easy plus bat speed, has lift in his swing and serious juice, made the East Cobb field look small during batting practice, lived on the barrel with consistent 95+ exit velocities, top of the scale raw power. Very interesting combination of hitting, defense and athleticism at a premium position. Good student, verbal commitment to Wake Forest.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
