Jack Johnson is a 2027 RHP/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Harrison. Strong well proportioned athletic build with plenty of present strength. Works from an easy delivery with a compact and quick arm action, pause and gather over the rubber with good lower half drive down the mound that creates torque. Fastball worked in the upper 80's and topped out at 90 mph, has hard darting two-seam life on his fastball at times. Change up was his best secondary pitch, sells it well with fading life. Created good spin on a soft slider but is still developing consistency in his release and shape. 6.65 runner in the sixty. Right handed hitter, starts from a medium straight stance with a deep hand load and big lift and replace leg trigger, lots of long elements to time up, has strength in his swing and can impact the ball when on time. Good student.
