Hayden Redd is a 2027 C/RHP/IF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Collierville, TN who attends St. George's Independent. Medium athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced start with a low hand load, has a big and fast leg raise and stride into contact that can seemed rushed at times, has quick hands with some strength in them for his age and got the barrel to the ball consistently with mainly gap to gap contact, projects plenty of bat speed as he continues to get stronger. 7.51 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a one knee down stance, is athletic in his movements and gains ground well throwing, strong arm and makes accurate throws, has idea with his foot work. Also worked out in the infield Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a high 3/4's arm slot and medium length arm action. Fastball was in the upper 70's and was mostly straight. Curveball was his pitch, threw it with conviction and tight spin and will throw it at any point in the count. Excellent student.
