Connor Gavigan is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-1 193 lb. frame from Riverview, FL who attends East Bay. Solid athletic build with good present strength. Primary outfielder on defense with two-way potential on the mound. 6.75 runner in the sixty. Right field profile in the outfield with a big throwing arm from a high 3/4's arm slot that creates carry and accuracy, works through the ball well and has a good feel for his fundamental footwork. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight and upright base, simple load and trigger he repeats very well, has present bat speed, effortless tension free swing with both barrel control and power, lived on the barrel in the games and made adjustments, potential high level bat. Standard side step/leg raise delivery on the mound, works downhill and on-line well, repeats his mechanics and fills up the strike zone. Threw a four-seam and two-seam fastball with the expected shapes, mid-70's curveball had good depth and 11/5 shape. Dropped his slot a bit on a fading change up. Good student. Named to the PG Uncommitted Select Games Top Prospect List.
