2025 PG WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Tristan Macpherson is a 2027 RHP/OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Lithia, FL who attends Durant. Outstanding frame with present musculature and the athleticism to be a two-way prospect at the next level. Ran the 60-yard dash in a solid 7.05 seconds. Primary position pitcher but took good reps in the outfield for this showcase. Took deliberate angles to the ball with working the glove out front appropriately. Clean midline transfer to a medium inline arm path, really pulling down and ripping the ball back to the infield with accuracy. Plenty of carry here and reached 90 mph a couple times on feeds. RHH working from a medium stance, good handset and lays the bare flat over the shoulder pre-pitch. Small leg lift and stride to get things started and generates outstanding bat speed. Bat path led to best impact being in the oppo gap and gets the ball elevated with ease. Will get a touch uphill but when on time and on plane the ball jumps with projectable power here. Strength lends itself well to the mound and with the stick, making him an intriguing two-way prospect. Outstanding student as well. Named to the PG WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
