Noah Schultz is a 2022 LHP with a 6-9 220 lb. frame from Aurora, IL who attends Oswego East. Extra tall and long build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a quasi-stretch windup with a small side step start, tight low 3/4's arm slot with a low effort release out front, gets a bit open with his front side at times. Fastball topped out at 92 mph with outstanding running life at times, 2600+ fastball spin rates consistently. Slider shows whiffle ball depth and bite at times with 2900+ spin rates, will throw his slider to spots and manipulate the shape. Change up is a solid third pitch with plenty of future promise. Works the bottom of the zone consistently and may not have thrown a pitch over a hitter's waist in two innings. Very high ceiling prospect with elite level spin rates and life on his pitches. Good student, verbal commitment to Vanderbilt. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
