James Dono is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B/OF with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Boynton Beach, FL who attends Wellington Sports Academy. Big and strong young athletic build. Right handed hitter, upright with high hands, inward trigger, loads to a high back elbow slot, has hand speed and strength behind the barrel, impacts to pull and middle of the field, through the deepest parts of the field, leverages the barrel and projects for some power. Primary shortstop, corner feet and actions, plenty of arm strength, balanced on the charge play, may kick over to third base but has the chops to handle that well. Secondary outfielder, good angles, clean and low effort arm, plenty of arm strength showing, accurate from right to all spots, clean round and repeated actions. Good student with a verbal commitment to Wake Forest. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
