2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (26-27 Grads)
Chris Wirsing is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Baxter, TN who attends Upperman. Recorded a 7.65 second sixty yard dash time. Long athletic build with some present strength and plenty more to come. Right handed hitter starts from a spread stance with a high handset and a high back elbow, utilizes a stride timing mechanism. Can get the barrel out front with strength present. Opposite field and middle-of-the-field approach. Tight turn of the lower half and showed the strength crushing a ball to the trees in left field for a three-run home run during game action. Primary shortstop with good backhand mechanics with some arm strength across. Also threw on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a staggered windup delivery with foot preset on the first base side of the rubber with a high three- quarter angle. Fastball was up to 87 and was low-to-upper 80s with late arm-side run to it. The curveball pops out of the hand. Change-up has decent shape. Fastball heavy attack. Exciting player with good power upside and some upside on the mound. Good student. Named to the PG High School All-State Select Championships Top Prospect List.
