Jackson Bass is a 2026 C/RHP/SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Keller, TX who attends Timber Creek. Athletic build with some budding lean strength, more room to fill with good shoulders and proportioned levers. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, two knee set, quick out of the crouch with good arm strength showing, average transfer with on-line throws, solid arm and tools to develop behind the dish, solid hands and release. Secondary right-handed pitcher, high effort with a bit of head whack, recoil to the arm and falls off to the first base side, three-quarter slot, opens front side some, occasional plane to the heater, bigger sidestep to leg lift above the belt line, some lower half drive, long winding arm action, sharp curve when the release is right. Took reps in the outfield, arm is the attractor here, works through with one hand gather t side, low line on throws with accuracy to the bag, clean look. Right-handed hitter, even base, right, still hands in the load, rocks weight back some, small stride to contact, developing thing, can improve, multiple hard hit baseballs in game that fell for hits. Named to the 2025 Sunshine Texas Top Prospect List.
