Aidan Hayse is a 2024 RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Morris, IL who attends Joliet Catholic Academy. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a fast paced delivery with a short arm path and a 3/4's arm slot, high leg raise above the belt, has a fast arm and the ball comes out clean. Fastball worked mostly 90-91 mph and topped out at 93 mph early, lots of potential to add velocity as he gets stronger, created some swing and miss up in the zone. Curveball was a good pitch with 11/5 shape when he got on top of it, can be more consistent in his release. Change up has potential with lots of running life and good arm speed. Very good bet to keep improving. Elite level student, verbal commitment to Tennessee.
