Boden Meier is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Fargo, ND who attends Shanley. Recorded a 7.02 second sixty yard dash time. Large and physical frame with length and room to fill. Primary right-handed pitcher, very agile athlete and is a quick mover on the mound. Utilizes a medium arm circle with stab in the back, comes from a high three-quarters slot and has advanced arm speed that projects well moving forward. Has some funk and deception to the delivery, throws a heavy fastball with good arm side run and ride through the zone. Gets downhill well, filled up the zone and attacked hitters. Breaking ball showed 10-4 shape with tight spin, has good feel for the pitch, tended to drop his slot a touch when throwing it. High upside on the mound. Secondary outfielder with an aggressive approach and fundamental footwork, flashed his arm strength by recording throws up to 88 mph. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and even hand set, utilizes a lift and replace trigger. Rotational and upper-half dominant swing, stays balanced and has strength at impact. Can produce loud contact when on time and squared, will continue to improve as he uses his lower half more actively in the swing. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 Midwest Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
