Griffin McKain is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-2 168 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Legion Collegiate Academy. Recorded a 6.89 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a tall and lean frame. Clean actions with clear athleticism in the outfield. Worked to the ball aggressively, fielding off the front foot. One hop accuracy and recorded throws up to 85 mph from the outfield. Left-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with open feet. Quality bat speed and bat stays on a linear path. Hands oriented swing and flashed the ability to lift. Power projects well and recorded an exit velocity of 88 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to chest level. Lands closed and uses a crossfire delivery. Shorter arm action and very quick arm. Pitches with intent and repeats. Fastball topped at 85 mph and creates big angle. Missed plenty of bats and showed an excellent 1-7 shaped curveball with sharpness. Verbal commitment to South Carolina. Named to the 2023 14u Perfect Game Select Festival.
