Cole Johnson is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Pieper. Medium frame with slight strength to build. Ran an 8.13 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, stretch only delivery with simple lift and push down the mound, lower three-quarters slot release getting short sink to the fastball, plays mostly true and throws strikes with it, showed feel for softer breaking ball with defined shape to it, has things to project on in terms of strikes and how he competes. Also plays first base, simple movements and under control, fields out front and moves clean into release. Left-handed hitter, long swing with makings of whipping the barrel, limited barrel accuracy and clearing front hip early, will need to improve some things with maturity.
