Tyler J Rodriguez is a 2026 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter. Long, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength proportioned throughout, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.80 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, starts with one knee down in set up, stays low in actions, receives the ball out front and works into a longer arm action, can gain additional ground with lower half moving into release, shows on line throws from a fuller arm stroke with accuracy down to second base. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even and wide base with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, weight begins on backside in the box. Simple and direct swing to the ball from launch and matches plane well, looks to lift at the point of contact and occasionally gets uphill at times. Will unlock additional pop with added extension out front, subtle shift through lower half, 89 mph exit velocity in testing. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
