Jase Pashales is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Coronado. Recorded a 7.19 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lean frame with length throughout and plenty of room to add strength. Primary third baseman with deliberate footwork throughout the fielding process and good arm strength across the diamond. Showed good reactions from side-to-side and a clean funnel. Recorded arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from this stretch. Incorporates crouched start with slightly coiled leg lift into balance and good lower half movements down the slope. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for most of his outing, topping out at 78 mph from a clean three-quarters arm slot. Displayed developing command of the strike zone with most misses high and to his arm-side. Mixed in slurve shaped breaking ball that flashed sharp bite when thrown out in front and with conviction. Flashed firm changeup that is still developing as his third secondary offering. Took part in the infielder portion of the defensive workout as well and showed similar deliberate footwork throughout the fielding process. Slightly elongated transfer process into release and recorded arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Simple, repeatable stroke with line drive swing path and good feel for the barrel. Middle-of-the field approach with ability to turn the barrel on the inner-half and create impact. Projectable power potential as he continues to mature and add strength. Good Student.
