2023 High School All State Select Championship (2024-2025 Grads)
T.J. McCraw is a 2024 RHP/MIF, OF with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Wichita Falls, TX who attends Wichita Falls. Long and lanky build with lots of projection left. Throws from a low 3/4's to side arm slot with a cross body release out front, clears his arm well at release, still developing consistency on his release on all his pitches but flashes it. Fastball worked in the mid-80's and topped out at 86 mph with predictable running action, has a chance to throw significantly harder as he gets stronger. Change up was his best off speed pitch this outing, gets big life on the pitch but tends to loose it arm side often. Added and subtracted from a from a sweeping breaking ball, works best at full arm speed and smaller and more controllable break. Reliever profile but a very interesting overall projection and package with his arm slot. Good student, verbal commitment to Panola College. Named to the HS All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
