Gabriel Ortiz is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Lutz, FL who attends Steinbrenner. Strong, physical build with well proportioned strength. Ran a 8.18 in the sixty. Outfielder who showed big arm strength, gets on top of throws real well and has carry. First baseman, worked around the bag awfully well for size with good turns. Accurate in all facets. Right-handed pitcher, three-quarter slot and moves well for size. Arm works well, fastball has carry up in the zone and showed a sharp two-lane curveball. Right-handed hitter, high hand set with leg lift trigger and wrapped start. Big strength and turns the barrel over well. Big impact and carry to the pull side. Good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
