Rhett English is a 2028 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-0 183 lb. frame from Phenix City, AL who attends Glenwood School. Proportioned, athletic frame with good projection for strength. Ran a 6.79 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well, some arm speed, big scap load, three-quarter slot, limited extension, lower flight on throws with good plane, one hop accuracy. Secondary first baseman, fields it well out front, moves well around the bag, present arm strength with good turns. Right-handed pitcher, full overhead windup, over the top slot release, life in the arm, sat 85-88 on the fastball early on in his outing, worked backwards nicely with a mid 60's curveball, 12-6 shape to it, generated swing and miss on both offerings, good for a '28 graduate and projects to get more athletic and fluid here. Right-handed hitter, present bat speed, hard pull contact, hits through the ball well, pre set hands, uphill at times, hanging trigger, projects to improve. Excellent student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
