Jacob Boggan is a 2026 SS/RHP/C with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from College Station, TX who attends College Station. Posted a 7.58 in the 60. Primary shortstop is a young build and moves well in the infield, has a good motor with awareness for the position. Loose actions should smooth out as he matures but has play making ability. At backstop he receives clean with good moving parts in his actions through the bag. Arm works well with some quickness to the process to build on. On the mound the right-hander was up to 78 mixing a 12/6 shaped breaking ball. Compact delivery with athleticism, held an effective outing and mixed well producing plenty of missed barrels. At the plate he showed some looseness in the hands and controls the bat well from the right side, has a shorter swing geared to contact and finds the barrel often. A lot of room to fill physically to add to the tools, good upside as he continues to develop. Good student.
