Hunter Rose is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Texarkana, AR who attends Pleasant Grove. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.04 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense but has two-way potential on the mound. Fields it out front to his side with good hands. Has a strong arm and was accurate with his throws. Was up to 86 from the outfield. Ball comes out clean from a PO release. Left handed pitcher who throws from a low 3/4 slot. Comes up slow and in control with a good balanced delivery to the plate. Fastball worked up to 87 with life. Tunneled a nasty change that he could locate off his fastball well. Repeats arm speed and slot well. Delivery showed good deception and creates tough angles for hitters as fastball got in quick. Curve with depth that he could land and really falls off the table. Heavy 1-7 shape with depth. Left handed hitter with a narrow upright base. High hand set and elbow. Medium sized leg lift and stride into contact. Has a smooth lefty swing and looks to leverage and launch the ball. Timing has to be perfect but showed good feel for the barrel overall with good power projection to the pull side. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Arkansas. Named to the National South Showcase Top Prospect List.
