Dylan Cheek is a 2026 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Rockwall, TX who attends Rockwall. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 6.79 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has easy range to both sides and is an athletic mover, very balanced making plays on the move, throws accurately from multiple arm slots and show very good carry when he gets on top of it. Also worked out in the outfield but his tools work much better on the dirt. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a short stride into contact, deep hand load creates some length, pretty simple timing and he repeats well, solid swing foundation to grow from as he gets stronger. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
