Brian Schroeder is a 2009 C/P from John F Kennedy HS, residing in Methchen, New Jersey, with a solid 5'11"/175 pound frame. Brian hits from an upright stance with a leg kick trigger and a top hand release. He has lift in his swing with solid power and makes consistent contact. Schroeder has a sidearm release from behind the plate with good feet and a solid transfer. On the mound, he pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. He has a good 10-4 slider at 71 mph that me moves in and out well. He mixes that well with his 79 mph fastball. Brian is a good student.
