Dylan Seward is a 2027 SS/MIF with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Eastvale, CA. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. He's got an athletic frame with room to continue filling out the frame moving forward and keep adding strength. Primary shortstop who showed off excellent athleticism & confidence at the position. Quick feet carried him to the ball with snatchy hands that made good picks. The throws across the field were on target and helped him record outs. As a Left-handed hitter, who sets up slightly open with the hands and back-elbow set high in the stance, he was able to work middle and pull-side with a linear path & good rhythm. As a right-handed hitter, he sets up similar with the higher set hands and back-elbow, though he closes up the feet and stays even. He was able to work to all parts of the field, producing line drives and maintaining good rhythm throughout the round. As he fills out and adds in strength, should be able to expand on his bat-to-ball skills and produce more loud contact from both sides. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
