Aiden Perkins is a 2024 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Denver, NC who attends East Lincoln. Medium frame with a strong, athletic overall build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.30 seconds. Primary position OF, moving really well to the ball and attacking plays. Good midline transfer as he works the glove properly out front. Quick arm and loads his hands well, ball really gets out of his hand. Spins the ball purely creating good carry and accuracy with throws up to 89 mph back to the bags. Secondary RHP, using a nice directional delivery and good energy at release. Accelerates through a high 3/4 arm angle with good hand speed. FB stays on plane as it reached 84 mph and downhill angle when extended. Firm vertical CB with good spin in the low-70s that created significant swing and miss. CH projects long term with contact deadening spin and solid deception. Plenty to like here. RHH working from a narrow and upright stance that is slightly open to start. Bigger stride to get moving with active hands to load. Gap to gap approach with strength and gets on plane well. Mature overall presentation with repeatable mechanics and has the look and actions of a high level hitter. Definite two-way potential and is an elite performer in the classroom.
