Gian Otero is a 2024 2B/SS with a 5-5 120 lb. frame from Vega Baja, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Recorded a 7.59 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with some athleticism and room to fill out. Primary second baseman with vey soft and quick hands. Higher slot with a clean arm stroke and very good confidence out in front. Fast footwork and knows the position very well. Arm strength recorded up to 72 mph across with an easy release. Right-handed hitter with a short, controlled stroke and a wide base. Inward toe tap into the swing with quick hands. Consistent swing with good feel and hand speed. Middle of the field approach and has some maturity in the batter's box. Great student.
