Luke Weatherley is a 2027 C/RHP with a 6-0 192 lb. frame from Jonesboro, AR who attends Jonesboro. Medium build with good present strength. 7.35 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense with two-way potential as a pitcher. Sets up right knee down behind the plate, repeats his mechanics cleanly with a quick exchange and accurate throws, solid present arm strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium bent knee stance with a level line drive swing path, mostly mid field to opposite field contact. Works exclusively from the stretch on the mound, quick arm swing to a high 3/4's arm slot, good direction down the mound. Fastball topped out at 91 mph and got on hitter's quickly, comes out of his hand very easily, nice carry up in the zone, good angle down in the zone. Curveball was a nice pitch with power and sharp biting action and 11/5 shape. Excellent student.
