Anthony Locastro is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Venetia, PA who attends Seton Catholic. Strong and compact medium build. Works exclusively from the stretch with a big coiled leg raise start over the rubber, gets down the mound well with a long and extended arm action in back and a high 3/4's release point. Fastball was consistently in the low 70's and topped out at 74 with some sink and run, threw his fastball for strikes has been 78-79 mph with his fastball in the past. Best secondary pitch was a firm change up with fading depth and good feel for the zone. Slider showed some tightness in the mid-60's. Has pitchability, command and feel but still looking for the velocity. 7.45 runner in the sixty. Showed much better arm strength during outfield drills that shows promise for improved mound velocity. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a short leg lift load, has a short line drive swing with solid middle of the field contact, keeps his simple and repeats it well. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
