LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2024 Jr. National Showcase
Wessley Roberson is a 2026 OF/3B/MIF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Brunswick, GA who attends Glynn Academy. Big and strong athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Elite run and throw tools, ran a 6.64 sixty here but has been down to 6.44 in the past. Has an outstanding arm that he showed off both in drills and in the games, fields the ball cleanly, makes very accurate on line throws. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance, has very good bat speed when he's being aggressive and looking to turn on the ball, puts on a show in batting practice and it's easy to see the ceiling, more of a controlled swing in games with an inside path and a middle to oppo approach. Sixteen years old and has plenty of time and repetitions ahead of him to figure out his approach and become comfortable with it. Has all the tools and they perform in games. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
