Sebastian Vargas is a 2027 SS/2B with a 5-7 146 lb. frame from Winter Garden, FL who attends Horizon. Features a medium lean build with plenty of room to add. Ran a 7.29 60-yd dash. In the INF, exhibited light feet that field in rhythm through the baseball. Showed softness to the hands that play well to both sides with a clean funnel that allows him to work quick to release. Used a shorter arm action that got off easy effort accurate throws up to 79 mph across. At the plate, he sits in an even base. Used a simple load and forward move. Some inconsistent timing throughout his batting practice round. Effort to the swing that flashed some quickness and present bat speed. Works the barrel on a flatter path through. Deeper contact points on most contact but swing translated in-game with several barrels, most noticeably one off the LF wall for a double and one deep to the backside.
