Ethan Coleman is a 2027 RHP/OF/IF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Boerne, TX who attends Boerne - Samuel V Champion. Primary right-handed pitcher with a long wiry and athletic frame. Throws from a standard high 3/4 slot and lands in line well. Intent to the arm with shorter and compact actions. Fastball was up to 83 and commanded well. Got in on hitters quick. Went to an 11-5 shaped breaker with depth. He could locate this pitch for strikes within the zone and showed good feel to spin it. Plenty to project on here off the bump. Also played outfield working through the ball well and out in front. Arm action comes full circle. Made throws with good accuracy and on a line. Also played infield moving well laterally. Good footwork and got to the ball well. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base and high handset. Starts slightly open. Uses a small stride for timing and weight transfer. Controlled the barrel well and showed some bat speed as well. Could really impact it with authority to pull.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
