2025 PG South Central High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Drake Walker is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Grapevine, TX who attends Colleyville Heritage. Lean and athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Primary LHP who throws from the semi windup. Gets downhill well and lands in line with his mechanics. Repeats motions well. Throws from a standard 3/4 slot with shorter arm action. Works fast with tempo. Fastball worked up to 83 and jumps out of the hand with subtle tail. Slider worked in the mid-70s and showed good late bite to it. Slider played short and tight. Could get chases off his slider. Sinks into back leg and gets good drive downhill. Release will need to be more consistent moving forward but has plenty of good working parts here. Velo should continue to trend up. Good Student.
