Caden Lozito is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Roseland, NJ who attends West Essex. Young and developing overall frame with good athletic build and a lot of time to add on. Primary position OF, working aggressively to the ball and fielding nicely out front. The glove work was a little spotty but he is young. Came through and transitioned well, working over the top with his arm producing an impressive 83 mph peak velocity to the infield. Emerging accuracy and overall mechanics with present high end arm strength. RHH working from an even stance and fairly high hand set. His path to the ball is direct and the swing is compact working on plane and creating natural loft. Hanging trigger to create timing and power, progressively hitting the ball with more consistency throughout his round of live BP. When on time and in the middle of the field, he showed strength at impact and excellent bat head awareness. Secondary position RHP, working from the stretch only, starting inline and staying there to foot strike. Does create a significant head snap to work arm to release point but can be cleaned up with time. Arm path is clean with medium depth and inline with the body and gets down the mound very well. Once he develops more from an overall physicality standpoint, the ease of his delivery will increase and he looks like a prospect long term on the bump. FB sat in the 73-76 range and backed that up with a quality CB 64-66 and a firm CH at 70 mph, both secondary pitches are developing in their overall presentation. There is a lot to look forward to with this young player and looks like he could be a two-way talent long term.
