Working exclusively from his OF spot, the lefty displayed an aggressive attacking mentality with direct routes to the baseball and a quicker arm stroke. He made an effort to get on top of the ball, topping out at 83 mph. Velocity has further potential to increase as the mechanics become slightly more controlled and consistent. Offensively, he used a balanced stance generating carry and backspin gap to gap. Jacobs Jr's best contact came on inside pitches that he could turn on and get the barrel out in front.
