LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (June 23)
Landon Edmonds is a 2025 OF/2B, 3B, SS with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Frontenac, MO who attends De Smet Jesuit. Medium overall current build, with broad shoulders, good muscularity especially in the lower half and a tremendous amount of time to add as a young athlete. Ran the 60 yard dash in an outstanding 6.97 seconds, projecting foot speed as a real future tool. Primary position OF, coming through his angles and routes well and gets himself inline appropriately on throws back to the infield. Excellent arm strength, showing velocity up to 86 mph from the outfield and has feel putting the ball on line with good carry through his target. Also, took reps on the infield using a deep funnel and methodical action to the ball. Glove work was on point and arm played well from here as well. LHH working from an even compact stance with a high hand set and works hard getting the barrel out front. Best contact was when he stayed in the middle of the field and did show the ability to drive balls with good backspin into the oppo gap. Emerging power and a lot to look forward to with his arm strength/foot speed/bat head feel skill set. Good student.
