Cole Koeninger is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Keller, TX who attends Keller. Athletic and wiry frame. Primary short stop with quick feet and soft hands. Moves well laterally and fields it cleanly to his back hand and up the middle. Uses a quick transfer and release with shorter arm action making timely throws with good accuracy and strength behind it. Changes the slot nicely and looks the part with budding traits. Also ran a 6.94 sixty. Also pitched throwing from a high 3/4 slot with a quick arm. Fastball was up to 89 with running sink. Pitches out of the stretch and comes full circle with the arm. Works with an upbeat tempo and gets downhill well maintaining good extension with the arm. Located east and west well. Flashed a 11-5 shaped breaker that he could locate at times. Projectable off the bump. Right-handed hitter swinging from a balanced base. Uses a medium sized stride rocking back to front well for weight transfer and timing. Swings hard with violence and intent. Showed good power to his pull side and good feel to really launch the ball. Gets extended well and has the power to go yard. Excellent student. Also named to the PG South Central Top Prospect list.
