2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 14)
Peyton Klewein is a 2026 SS/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Mount Paran Christian. Medium, athletic build with present strength and plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary shortstop, works through the baseball well and stays fairly light on his feet. Showcased developing footwork with some lateral range to both sides. Got rid of the baseball with urgency, delivering accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 76 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with a high hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing before working into a flat bat path. Swing can get lengthy and slashy at times. Creates some whup to the barrel with leverage when timed up. Has good strength in the hands. Projects for more power with added strength and mechanical refinement. Posted an exit velocity of 89 mph. Ran a 6.92 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
