Zachary Swope is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 6-1 181 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Louisville Trinity. Young athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength and more to come. 7.58 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has good hands with a clean funnel out front and a quick and efficient glove to hand exchange, throws well from different slots, going to make the routine plane. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight and balanced stance with a short stride into contact, some barrel tilt to get the bat moving, rotational swing with a line drive swing plane, mostly pull side contact. Also pitched, works from a slow paced full wind up with a long off-line arm action. Fastball was thrown up to 80 mph, mostly straight. Curveball was his best pitch, generated some spin with good downer shape and some bite. Very good student.
