Owen McKeeby is a 2028 RHP/3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Whitefield Academy. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and some present strenght, additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.04 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, good rhythm to windup, small side step into a belt high leg lift; attacked hitters and showed plenty of present arm speed and strength. Topped out at 85 mph and maintained velocity well, generates some hard running life to the fastball. Showed a spiked curveball up to 70 mph, flashes solid depth and feel to land it in the zone. Intriguing upside. Athleticism plays some in actions in the dirt, smooth hands and gets it out of glove quickly, solid arm strength and carry across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow and upright stance in the box, creates some separation in swing while utilizing a short stride into contact. Shows quickness to hands and can turn on the inside pitch, linear path with comfort working to the middle of the field. Named to the 14u Georgia All-State Games Top Prospect List.
