Kaiden McCarthy is a 2027 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Chester, VT who attends Vermont Academy. Recorded a 7.33 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with length to his limbs and lots of room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher with good rhythm down the mound and a clean arm swing. Over the top arm slot with good arm side run on the fastball that was up to 87 mph. Commands the pitch well to the glove side. Curveball has 11/5 shape with good depth to it. Changeup is an advanced pitch and really kills lift and sinks it nicely. Solid three pitch mix with polish and projection. Arm strength also played from secondary position of the outfield up to 89 mph. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a wider base. Creates some pull side line drive contact and comes off well. Named to the 2023 14u PG Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
