2028 Top Prospects

Owen Hewitt  3B - 2028 - Jupiter, FL

Hewitt is already strong and physical at 6-foot-1, 175-pounds with long limbs and tons of room for projection and upside. The arm strength is very good as he was up to 83 mph across and ran a 7.0 second 60. The power will be significant as he learns to use it in game and the bat speed will play.

Alex Paulk  C - 2028 - Yulee, FL

Paulk already has size and physicality and was one of the better defensive catchers all weekend. The swing is smooth and well-connected and in game showed the ability to drive the ball all over the ballpark. He was also up to 78 mph on the mound.

Julian Connell  OF - 2028 - Pembroke Pines, FL

Connell has a long, broad-shouldered frame at a listed 6-foot-1, 130-pounds and checks a lot of boxes at present. He ran a 7.1 and threw mid-70s from multiple positions. The swing looks to loft and create leverage that should project for solid power and the feel for the barrel is already present.

Juan Tabio  3B - 2028 - Davie, FL

Tabio is already physically advanced at a listed 6-foot-2, 220-pounds with immense strength from the left side in the batter's box. He had the highest exit velocity of the event at 84 mph with a 75 mph arm and the power looks like it will play really well.

Jackson Evans  2B - 2028 - Boynton Beach, FL

Evans has a solid base of foundational skill and did a nice job controlling the barrel in game. The swing is short and quick from the left side and he was low-70s from multiple positions in workouts.

Barrett Stencel  OF - 2028 - Thomasville, GA

Stencel has solid athleticism, present in his actions defensively with a solid arm that was up to 80 mph from the outfield. There are solid hitting tools here and he had one of the loudest in game barrels of the event, a rocket double that one-hopped the left field wall.

Jayden Caraballo  RHP - 2028 - Lehigh Acres, FL

Caraballo showed solid two-way ability, running the heater up to 75 mph with a big downer breaking ball he could land for strikes. The swing is also short and quick from the left side with solid feel for the barrel.
